Barbara Schuman is an Exercise and Lifestyle Counselor at Cenegenics Medical Institute Boca Raton.

“Before I joined the team at Cenegenics Boca Raton, I thought, as a personal trainer, that I knew what I needed to do to help someone achieve success, but it wasn’t specific enough,” says Barbara. “Everything we do at Cenegenics Boca Raton is extremely specific to the individual, addressing the patient’s strengths and weaknesses and helping them achieve their goals.”

Barbara received her Certified Personal Training Specialist Degree from the prestigious Fitness Institute International. She has current certifications with and meets the continuing education requirements of both the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Prior to joining Cenegenics in 2006, Barbara owned her own business, Diversified Natural Healthcare, Inc., a health promotion company offering wellness strategies to individuals and corporations, as well as continuing medical education programs for nurses and registered dietitians. Before launching her business, Barbara was the manager and marketing director of an otolaryngology/head and neck surgery practice for a large multi-physician group.
