Dr. Kenneth Janson is a partner physician at Cenegenics Boca Raton.

In 2008, he earned his Certification in Age Management Medicine and soon began his practice as an Attending Physician in Cenegenics Chicago.

​

“Practicing traditional medicine as a urologist, I sometimes would see more than 40 patients a day in the office, in addition to performing surgical procedures at the hospital,” he says. “I was limited in pursuing non-urological issues in depth and knew that I was spending most of my time putting out fires, rather than preventing fires in the first place. At Cenegenics Boca Raton, we attempt to focus on identifying and treating underlying causes of disease before they present themselves as serious conditions. With this proactive approach, I now feel like a complete physician – dealing with the totality of health, focusing on disease prevention rather than reacting to serious diseases that have already developed.”

Dr. Janson brings more than 30 years of urological experience to his position at Cenegenics Boca Raton. He has witnessed many men face a diagnosis of prostate cancer, and women face a diagnosis of breast or uterine cancer, as well patients of both sexes develop heart disease. Dr. Janson therefore has a strong interest in the appropriate use of hormonal and other therapies in men and women which are not only safe, but actually have the potential for reducing risks of future disease developing. He also has treated both men and women with concerns of sexual dysfunction resulting from multiple hormonal factors and other underlying etiologies such as vascular disease, neurological impairment, and stress/ lifestyle issues.

From 1977 to 2010, Dr. Janson was in private practice of Urologic Surgery at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in the northern suburbs of Chicago, and was the Managing Partner of Urology Consultants, LLC. He subsequently was a founding member of Uropartners, LLC, one of the largest urology groups in the country, also based in greater Chicago. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He has served in recent years as Chairman of the Dean’s Council of the Tulane University School of Medicine, is currently a member of the Board of Governors of the Medical School.
